Behavior & Aggression Evaluation

Service Description

Our specialized Behavior & Aggression Evaluation is the first step to safely understanding and managing complex behavioral issues. During this intensive, 2-hour in-home assessment, we will evaluate your dog's specific triggers and analyze the root causes of their reactivity or aggression. Before leaving, we will establish an immediate management plan to bring some stability and safety back into your home. Our primary focus is teaching you how to appropriately communicate with your dog, read their body language, and establish fair, clear boundaries they need to thrive. Following this session, we will map out a customized behavioral rehabilitation plan tailored to your long-term goals. ⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY & GEAR REQUIREMENTS: For everyone's safety, any dog with a bite history or that has shown the intent to bite must adhere to the following protocols prior to our arrival: - Arrival Isolation: Your dog must be crated or secured in a separate room before the trainer enters the home, and must remain there until explicitly instructed otherwise. - Leash Rules: When prompted to bring your dog out, they must be on a secure slip lead or a standard 4' to 6' flat leash. Retractable leashes are strictly prohibited. - Collar Rules: Your dog must wear an escape-proof collar they are incapable of slipping out of (such as a properly fitted martingale collar). - Muzzle Safety: If your dog is muzzle conditioned, please ask your trainer about bringing your dog out in their muzzle. If your dog is not muzzle conditioned, don't worry, we may discuss this. 🔒 Booking & Safety Policy: A $100 non-refundable deposit is required online to secure your session slot. The remaining balance plus any applicable out-of-zone mileage fees (for locations over 12 miles from Lebanon, OH) will be sent via a secure QuickBooks invoice and must be paid at least 24 hours prior to our scheduled session.
